State of the Project - Week 1

Dear backers,
I want to do my best to keep you informed about what is happening with Heroes & Hardships. I plan on updating you each week about the state of the project.
There's not a lot to tell this week, however there's some good news.
Firstly, I have been spending a good bit of time going through the book and adding extra art, fixing some minor things, and getting the early-access version ready. I see no reason that in a couple of weeks you won't have it in hand. I'm hoping you'll be able to give feedback before I prepare the files for the printer.
For those reading this update and have not backed, the pre-order store is open, and you can get in on this project and still receive a discount. You can get to the pre-order store HERE. Backers will eventually be sent surveys where they can upgrade their pledges, buy add-ons, and enter their address as well as pay for shipping. Time for that is still TBD.

You've done it. 826 of you have helped this project come to life. When I started this journey in 2017 I had no idea this is where it would take me. I couldn't have reached this point without your generous funding.
I would also like to thank my playtesters who have given me sage advice along the way: Jarrod, Mike, Polly, Joe, Peter, Pranab and everyone else.
I will work hard to keep you all updated on the status of things as they transpire.

Some shipping updates (Australia & New Zealand)
Our fulfillment section lists Australia and New Zealand as $65 for the core rulebook. Although initial localized shipping is unlikely, that rate will be reduced by almost $20. So for those folks, your shipping rates will be much lower.
More Content
For those that have backed at Print Hero or above, we will be adding a few select Heroes & Hardships adventures converted from other systems. For others they will be available as add-ons in BackerKit.

4 Days Left - Remaining Stretch Goals

Dear backers,
We are four days out from the end of our campaign. The campaign ends November 3rd at 12PM EST.
I am hopeful the last few days will produce a significant amount of new backers that will help us reach some of our remaining stretch goals, but I wanted to talk about some of the higher tier goals in case we don't reach them.
GM's Screen
If we don't reach the GM's Screen, we will focus on getting it made alongside other campaigns that will come in the future. I may be able to create a digital version in the mean time, but this is to be determined.
Dark Fantasy Adventure
Regardless if we reach this goal or not, I plan on having this adventure produced. How that will happen is still to be determined, but I still want Hank to create this for our fans. So stay tuned on this one.
Lone Hero
I have already spoken to Peter and he will be creating these. In fact, they will be available for purchase as an Add-On in the pledge manager if we do not make this stretch goal. So soloists, have no fear, these rules will be made in short order and they will be available a few months after the campaign ends.
I am truly excited about what the future holds for this game and I want to thank everyone again for their support. You have made this possible. Let's keep going these next few days and help make the game even better.

Stretch Goal #2 and 11 days left

Stretch Goal #2
Dear backers,
I'm happy to finally be able to inform you we are currently 301% funded and have unlocked our 2nd stretch goal: Sci-Fi Adversaries Vol. 1, a bestiary with 20+ sci-fi and modern adversaries.
We are in a good position for the last week to be successful and get some, if not all, of our remaining goals. If you have any comments or questions, please just leave a comment or send me a message directly.
Progress
I have been working on Fantasy Adversaries Vol.1 these past weeks, and have over a dozen entries complete, with several more still in the works. All these entries are designed for Power Levels 1-3, just as in the Core Rulebook.
Here is the list so far:

The book also includes several new abilities, flaws, ancestry traits, weapon qualities, and more. So this book will be great for GMs and players alike. Everyone will receive the PDF and the At Cost Print-on-Demand code once they are ready.
I plan on sending out my next update at the 400% funded level or if I have significant news to share. Thanks for being a part of this game's future, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Micro Dungeons is a short selection of small dungeons for both new and experienced players of 5E DnD, that can be played in a few hours, with an old school feel. This time we bring you two edition of Micro Dungeons in the same campaign: The Micro Dungeons V, and the Micro Dungeons Halloween Edition 2022.
