Dungeons Deep and Caverns Old: Secrets of the Sacred Stone is a dwarven campaign setting and adventure for the universal RPG system Heroes & Hardships. In Secrets of the Sacred Stone, you will explore ancient underground ruins, navigate clan rivalries, experience mysterious magics, and fight dark denizens from the deep. This campaign setting and adventure will be an estimated 100 pages, and will include various digital handouts, maps, and extras to enhance play. You should have recieved Sci-Fi Adversaries Vol. 1 from Backerkit late last week. If not, just head to your Backerkit account and the codes should be there to download. Otherwise, we will be working on the Combat Action Cards for early-bird backers in the next few weeks.

Dear backers,
Many of you have received your physical rewards by now, and those that haven't, you soon will. Countries that are not the United States and United Kingdom may see a little delay as packages go through customs and make the trip from our warehouses. Again, if there's something wrong with your order/package, please contact me ASAP.
With the physical fulfillment behind us, I will not be doing weekly updates any longer. Instead, I will update this space when there's something to say (such as new releases, stretch goals fulfilled, etc). Bit by bit, the more Samal discovers about her beloved great-uncle, the more mysterious he seems—and he is not even the most enigmatic of her kin. Assembling the pieces of a familial puzzle becomes steadily more dark and dangerous, and completing the unexpected quest could prove deadly.
Heroes & Hardships: Shipping has begun

Backers!
I am very happy to announce shipping has begun world wide. For 99% of you, your orders have been shipped or are waiting for the carrier to pick up the package. You should have received an email with tracking information. If you don't see it, check your spam folder. There are a small few I have sent emails to for clarifications, etc, please respond if I've reached out.
What happens if the postal service destroys your book?
It goes without saying that it is likely a small handful of people will be unlucky and their book will get trashed in the mail. We can hope it doesn't happen, but we all know how it goes. If this happens, first, take plenty of pictures of the book and packaging. Once you have that, get in touch with me. I'll send you a replacement ASAP. Please make sure you have those pictures so I can resolve the issue quickly.
What happens if my books never come?
First, make sure you ordered a physical book. That might seem silly, but it has been 31 weeks since the KS ended. If you did pledge for a physical book, then reach out to me. For North America, the EU, and UK, you should get your orders sometime next week. For everyone else, it might take a little time. Use your tracking number and we can verify what's going on. If you think it is taking too long, let me know.
What happens if I forgot to change my address?
This is a very unfortunate situation. I've been dutiful about reminding everyone to do this over the last couple months. I've sent you Kickstarter messages, Backerkit sent emails, and I have made numerous updates about it here. If you find you forgot to change your address and the book was shipped to your old address, you will need to determine what you want to do. You can attempt to retrieve the book yourself from your old address, or you can reorder your pledge at your cost. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Dear backers,
I am excited to inform you that our shipment of the Heroes & Hardships Core Rulebook has arrived at our fulfillment center in the United States. Although the warehouse will need to do various checks on the product and produce a shipping plan, you can expect fulfillment to begin VERY soon, as early as later this week. This goes for the UK/EU/Rest of World as well. I've given GamesQuest the OK to begin their fulfillment process as well.

Hello backers,
I was hoping to have some more exciting news today, but alas, our shipment is still making its way through customs ... slowly. The new ETA is 6/3. That's really all I know right now. Hopefully they will meet that date and have the books to the warehouse soon after. At the UK warehouse, everything is ready. I just need to pay the shipping invoice and that process can start. I will put it off a little longer to try to sync both warehouses, but the the US and Canada may be shipped a little later than everywhere else. Regardless, it shouldn't be long now.
One of our backers is running a mini-campaign on StartPlaying in June. This would be a great way to get into a game. Another one of our backers is probably going to be running 2 sessions at Gencon (more later on that).
A thrown mug whistles past your head and shatters against the roof timber, showering your companions with ale. "Hey, that was the good stuff!" Swaying a bit from too much drink, you get to your feet. Another bar fight? Fine, bring it. But this bar fight will be different....
