Dear backers,
I am very happy to report that the inlay proof pages have arrived. I am blown away by the quality of what we have. Here are a couple pictures of the actual pages.
I'm still waiting on the next steps from the printer, but it shouldn't be long now until we get in the queue for printing.
3rd-Party Releases
The Core Rulebook has been released on DriveThruRPG, and that means we have some 3rd-Party adventures that have also been released. Please check these out and support out 3rd-Party program. I will have more to mention next week as well.

Dear backers,
It's Tuesday, so that means it is update day. I have some good news to share. All the files sent to the printer have been approved. This was an interesting process as the printer was very diligent in making sure everything was correct. We went back and forth for a couple weeks until everything was to their specifications. In fact, they have sent me a proof of the interior pages of the book which should get to me Friday. I'm excited to see what it will all look like. Maybe next week I will snap a few pictures and post them here and to our Discord.
For Sale
I'm also happy to announce that Heroes & Hardships is on sale to the general public on our website. Feel free to share it with your friend that might be interested. The full release will be next week on DriveThruRPG as well. You will also see some releases under our 3rd-Party program. I will detail more about each of those as they are launched. The best way to keep up-to-date is joining our Discord and Newsletter (Where I give out a lot of free stuff).

Dear backers,
Work has continued in all areas. I believe the files will be approved by the printer tomorrow and the next step of that process will begin. I already have several "screen proofs" I need to look over. (Screen proofs are basically low res PDFs that show what may be trimmed in the print process).
Logistics is on going, and I'm working with our freight and fulfillment companies almost daily.
We obviously are way ahead of the official schedule of December 2023. Physical backers should see the book in their hands sometime in the spring.
3rd-Party Program Announcement
I'm also happy to announce the Heroes & Hardships 3rd-Party publishers program. Publishers can create adventures, settings, and more using Heroes & Hardships rules.
We already have around 10 publishers signed up that will be releasing their products around the same time as the core rulebook goes on general sale and pre-order for the physical books.

This week is more of the same from last week. I am working on the updates to the print files for the core rulebook after getting some feedback from the printer. I received a proof from Mixam for the GM's Guide Vol. 1, and it is ready to go. I will print these when the core rulebook is ready so they land in the fulfilment warehouses around the same time.
If you haven't, please complete your survey. Otherwise you won't get your book or files.
You might have noticed, I was able to do the first adventure conversion to H&H and sent it out via Backerkit. Print Hero and above should have gotten it for free.

State of the Project - Week 15

Dear backers,
I have conquered 2 of 3 file sets required for the printer. The next bunch (endpapers) should be easy once I get some clarity from the printer. After that, I'll send them over to the printer, they will check them for mistakes, and if there are any they send them them back to me for review/correction. After that I give the okay to print and we are on our way. As I mentioned, the printer expects to print 2 weeks after files are finalized. Then freight will begin to the two warehouses. The trip from Lithuania to the United States will take over a month. Regardless, I am hoping you will see fulfillment start sometime in April or May.
Until then, I will continue to work on our stretch goals, early bird rewards, add-ons, and new super-secret projects.
